I took this picture a few weeks ago leaving the Hot Rod Reunion and it reminds me of a race team from the late 60's that has lost in the final round of eliminations and loaded up with defeat on all their minds.

FXR Project Update

Got the frame and swing arm back from paint.  Workin 65 hours a week at my day job, so this is as far as I've got.  I still need a few things to finish it, but if I can get the painter to finish the tins I should be ridin it in the next couple weeks.

FXR Project Update

Been workin on the FXR every night that I can.   Finally got it to paint last week and have been workin on all the odds and ends so when it gets back I can start slamin it together.   The last major thing I have to do is build the exhaust, which I got all the tubing and bends last week.  I wanna ride!!

Mock up is almost done.  Have a few more parts to make and it will be ready for body work and paint.

 

Had to notch bottom of the gas tank for the rocker box.

Love these stainless bars!  Front Street Cycles in Dayton, OH made them for me.  Check them out on e-bay, they have tons of cool styles!
